Why women are more vulnerable to anxiety disorders

Evidence-based approaches that help

Anxiety disorders in women respond well to treatment. Evidence-based approaches include:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): The gold standard for anxiety disorders, with the strongest evidence base. CBT helps identify and change thought patterns and behaviors that maintain anxiety
